LEAF AND FRAME SHEATHING
The main construction material for the leaf and frame of our doors is double-sided hot-dip galvanised sheet metal, coated with veneers resistant to UV radiation and atmospheric conditions. The use of hot-dip galvanising provides a thicker layer of galvanising and significantly better corrosion protection than in the case of galvanising.
Before the coating process, the sheet undergoes a multi-stage preparation process including degreasing, chemical phosphating, rinsing and passivation.
Before the veneer is applied, the surface of the veneer is subjected to a chemical activation process that provides exceptional bonding strength. This process is a closely guarded technology that has been developed as a result of the manufacturer's many years of experience. The sheet is coated by hot-rolling with special veneers that are resistant to UV radiation, precipitation and temperature changes.
The veneers used are thicker than those used for window joinery, which means that the sheet can be successfully profiled and pressed after the coating process. After treatment, the material retains the required mechanical and aesthetic properties, providing exceptional tensile strength, which is crucial for use in door joinery.
At the end of the process, the sheet is subjected to a visual inspection by employees and to an automatic inspection in a special quality supervision system, which verifies that the production has been carried out correctly. From each batch, samples are taken for quality testing and stored by the manufacturer for a period of 5 years.
Such a comprehensive, accurate and rigorous production process for the sheets used makes them a reliable material with excellent mechanical properties and outstanding aesthetic qualities. All structural components are manufactured on a modern automated production line equipped with precise numerically controlled machines.
The production process ensures full repeatability and matching of the sub-assemblies used, which in the final product form a compact, robust and tight construction.
GLAZING AND GLAZING FRAMES
In all our models, we install 3-glazed, 2-chamber composite glass with the use of "Venetian mirror" glass as standard.
In the INOX collection models we use high-grade brushed stainless steel. The frames in the BLACK collection are made of powder-coated aluminium sheet. Both solutions adopted ensure high mechanical strength and resistance to weather conditions.
STEEL FRAME
CONSTRUCTION OF THE STEEL FRAME
Steel door frames offered in the Primo and Energo collections are created on the basis of the FD/25/21/B section, which is made of high-quality, double-sided hot-dip galvanised sheet metal with a core thickness of 1.2 mm, hot-coated with a special UV-filter veneer resistant to weather conditions.
The frame and threshold are equipped with a specially shaped gasket channel allowing for its stable and even seating. Such a solution ensures tightness of the leaf-frame unit along the entire door perimeter. The material used, profile cross-section and its dimensions provide a stable and rigid structure that significantly facilitates the door assembly process.
TECHNOLOGY USED IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE STEEL FRAME
The sheet metal core is hot-coated with a special veneer that is resistant to UV radiation, weather conditions and temperature fluctuations. During the coating process, the surface of the veneer is additionally chemically activated, which enhances the bonding strength. The use of thick veneers guarantees exceptional tensile strength, which is essential for use in door joinery. As a result, we obtain a material with excellent mechanical properties and outstanding aesthetic qualities.
EQUIPPING THE STEEL FRAME
The steel frame integrated with a stainless steel threshold is equipped as standard with 3 three-part Z5 hinges adjustable in two planes, a gasket on the whole perimeter, holes for anti-theft bolts and an adjustable lower locking catch.
DOOR LEAF
DOOR LEAF CONSTRUCTION
The basis of the leaf structure is a high-quality, double-sided hot-dip galvanised sheet metal with a core thickness of 0.6 mm, hot-coated with a special weather-resistant veneer with UV filter.
The material is formed using state-of-the-art punching and bending machines.
TECHNOLOGY USED IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE DOOR LEAF
The sheet metal core is hot-coated with a special veneer that is resistant to UV radiation, weather conditions and temperature fluctuations. The durability of the raw material used is ensured by an advanced sheet metal surface preparation process including degreasing, chemical phosphating, rinsing, surface passivation.
DOOR LEAF EQUIPMENT
As standard, our doors are equipped with a gasket, 2 three-bolt locks and 3 anti-theft bolts.
The Primo collection is filled with foamed polystyrene, while the Termo and Energo collections are filled with PUR polyurethane foam.
